This Christmas Day, Canadian rideshare company Uride is helping ensure that transportation isn’t a barrier to spending the holidays with loved ones.
Founded in Thunder Bay, Uride is offering free rides of up to $25 on Christmas Day for individuals and families who may be struggling financially or who don’t have access to reliable transportation. The initiative is designed to help people get to and from Christmas dinner safely and affordably.
How to Get a Free Christmas Ride
The offer is available through Uride’s Good Deed program, which dedicates a portion of rides each month to supporting community initiatives.
Anyone who is in need or anyone wishing to nominate someone else can email support@uridetech.com with the subject line “Free Christmas Rides.” Eligible participants will receive two promo codes, each covering a ride of up to $25 on Christmas Day. The codes can be used for a ride to and from Christmas dinner using the Uride app.
Supporting the Community During the Holidays
“Most of us have been in situations where money or transportation make life harder than it needs to be,” said Cody Ruberto, Founder and CEO of Uride. “If we can help bring more families together on Christmas, then this initiative will be more than worth it.”
The program is aimed at supporting people during a time when transportation can be limited or expensive, ensuring no one misses out on important holiday moments.
“Helping people get home safely and be with the people they care about is why we do what we do,” Ruberto added. “We wish everyone an incredible and safe holiday season.”
