Uride Supports Students with $20,000 Student Support Fund

At Uride, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do. This February, we launched the Uride Student Support Fund, a $20,000 initiative designed to help students manage the rising cost of education.

With tuition, rent, and everyday expenses continuing to increase, many students across Canada are balancing academics with multiple jobs just to stay enrolled. Through this initiative, Uride aimed to ease that burden and provide meaningful financial relief.

Supporting Students, One Week at a Time

Throughout the month of February, one student was selected each week to receive $5,000 toward tuition or school-related expenses. In total, four students were supported through this fund, helping them focus more on their studies and less on financial stress.

The impact of this initiative was deeply felt by recipients. Many students shared that financial support like this not only helps cover expenses but also provides peace of mind and the ability to concentrate on their education.

One recipient shared that as a full-time student, finding time to work can be extremely challenging. This support helped reduce stress and allowed for better focus on academic goals. Another student highlighted how the funding eased constant financial pressure, improving both academic performance and overall well-being.
